Mens Diamond Rings Survey: The Top 3

Mens diamond rings are the flagship of all types of jewellery.  You don’t need to have it explained to you when you see what jewellers are capable of with the right metals and diamonds – the way they gleam and sparkly is usually extremely hipnotic.

Men’s Diamond Engagement Rings
Often, these are the type of men’s rings which get both the most attention, and have the most money spent on them.  And engagement ring holds a special place in most women’s psyches.  They can be titanium rings, and either gold or silver rings.  It is an expression of love, and one of the most highly symbolic and emotionally charged jewellery pieces.  Many still prefer classic diamond rings, but there are a lot of new types of jewellery out there.  Similary special are Claddagh rings – which are traditionally Irish, and used as an expression of love or a symbol of marriage.

Men’s Diamond Engagement Rings
More and more we are seeing the phenomenon of mens rings.  Men seem to be increasingly interested in wearing jewellery as a symbol of status, or a fashion accessory.  Similar to a woman’s right hand ring, it is seen as a symbol of achievement.  Unless it’s on the wedding ring finger.  In which case you’re showing you’re married.

Eternity Rings or Purity Rings
In most jewellery shops, you can find rings for sale which are made specifically to symbolize a commitment to saving yourself for marriage.  These are worn often by teenagers, as an expression of virginity and purity, and that they have made a commitment to keeping both intact until they replace it with a gold wedding band.  Not all make it until this point though, which is why if you see any stones on the ring itself, they are often less valuable than diamonds, such as cubic zirconias or quartzite.
